Great Food

With 6,500 beekeepers (32% of the total country) and 2,000 tons of excellent quality honey production per year, Halkidiki is rightly characterized as the beekeeping center in Greece.

Aristotle 2,300 years ago praised honey and its benefits to man by arguing that honey prolongs life.

Today, the beekeepers of Halkidiki, continuing the tradition, utilize in the purest way the rich flora of Kassandra, Sithonia and North Halkidiki, producing large quantities of honey.
