The "2nd Pilgrimage Bike Race" will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 12 noon and is organized by the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos, the Regional Unit of Pieria, the Municipality of Pydna-Kolindrou, the Pieria Tourism Development and Promotion Organization ( POTAP) and the Sports and Cultural Triathlon Association "TRIAS".
Its purpose, the promotion and acquaintance of the Worship and Pilgrimage places of the Holy Metropolis of Kitrou, Katerinis and Platamonos, through sports and cycling.
The action will include a bicycle race starting from the Holy Church of Saints Peter and Paul of Aeginios, stops at Holy Churches of the Municipality of Pydna-Kolindros and finishing at the Holy Church of Saint George Makrygialos.
