The CULTURE CENTER is the cultural agency of the REGION OF CENTRAL MACEDONIA. Its purpose is to strengthen and promote cultural life and artistic education and creation in the Region of Central Macedonia.
The main activity of the CULTURE CENTER OF THE REGION OF CENTRAL MACEDONIA is the organization and promotion of cultural activities. It was founded in the year 1996 and during the years of its operation it has demonstrated a significant presence in the cultural events, initially of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki and now of the Region of Central Macedonia, implementing events either self-organized or in cooperation with the Local Government, with Cultural and Social Agencies, or with Educational Institutions.
The CULTURE CENTER OF THE REGION OF CENTRAL MACEDONIA promotes our rich cultural and cultural heritage, creates, supports and highlights important institutions, supports young as well as established creators and strengthens the participation of citizens in cultural events.
The slogan of the CULTURE CENTER OF THE REGION OF CENTRAL MACEDONIA is "Culture embraces us ALL" and its strategy and goals are built on this slogan.
