Art exhibition "Nature: Screams and Whispers II"

The Telloglio Foundation of Arts, the University Gallery of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, one of the most active and dynamic museum organizations in Greece, continues for more than two decades the path drawn with boldness, innovative spirit and love by the couple of its founders, Nestor and Alikis Telloglou. With its unique and rich collections being the heart of the Foundation, Telloglio organizes and presents on an annual basis, numerous periodical exhibitions, which are hosted in the Museum's facilities or proposed, for hosting, to other cultural institutions throughout Greece and abroad.

For the period from 18/10/2023 to 10/12/2023, the art exhibition on the topic of climate change is scheduled. Works from the collections of the Telloglio Foundation will be presented, as well as loans from other museums and collectors, in which climate change, due to thoughtless human interventions, can be distinguished. Particular emphasis will be placed on water and natural phenomena, as a source of inspiration and a challenge for the choice of the subject and the creation and formulation of the visual work.

For example, works by Georgiadis, Kontoglou, Patsoglou, Rogoti, Sakayan, Sklavo, Tsigou, Fainou, Fotaki etc. will be presented.

This theme, a wonderful wealth of artistic creation in the area of ​​capturing the effects of climate change, will be presented in the proposed exhibition, mainly through paintings.

We would like to emphasize that this is largely an original presentation of individual works.
