On April 6, 1941 the defenders of the Forts proved that nothing is unachievable! They faced the strongest war machine of the time, the Germans, and managed not to be defeated.
83 years later, the example of the epic of the Forts inspires the young and the older ones.
The Municipality of Sintiki, following the good practices of abroad, gives April the designation of the Month of the Forts, planning a series of events for this great anniversary!
The climax comes with the event "ROUPEL 1941. THE REENACTMENT", which attracts thousands of visitors from all over Greece and abroad and constitutes a revival milestone for our home country.
