16th year Loud City, 16th year that Veria welcomes summer with a four-day celebration honoring World Music Day, June 21! With a lot of enthusiasm, we present a musical four-day event in the most beautiful parts of our city.

13 concerts, 210 artists, 2 photography exhibitions, workshops and seminars, in squares and corners that become folk, pop, rock and jazz, filled with traditional music, with sounds of Macedonia, Epirus, Pontus and our little big world. Here, different sounds make a common music. Here, small celebrations make a big, open to all, feast. Our Loud City enlivens its streets, unites its people and welcomes summer with open events that continue, remind and recreate our cultural heritage!

Municipal Regional Theater of Veria (DIPETHE)

“The Twins – preview”

Dimitra Trypani and the members of the workshop, “Didymanes”, give us a preview of the musical performance, The Didymanes, which will be presented by DI.PE.THE. Verias on July 8 at the Alsous Theater "Melina Merkouri". The songs of the show are modern polyphonic arrangements of traditional Greek songs from the region of Macedonia, Crete and the Ionian Islands.

The concert includes arrangements of traditional compositions from the wider Mediterranean and Black Sea regions as well as new compositions by Christos Kaliontzidis and Thomas Meleteas. A concert with a flow of changing soundscapes that keeps the viewer's interest undiminished until the last minute.

“The Band mugs”

Koupes play Greek-language rock with traditional elements. On the one hand the clarinet and the bagpipes take the lead and on the other the electric guitars, along with the bass and drums grooving to rock rhythms, motivate you to follow this unique energy, in the company of Frederiki's wonderful voice.

Constantis Pistiolis

Konstantis with his band introduces to the public his first album entitled "Xenitemena", a musical project that starts from the traditional music of Epirus and through experimentation reaches the present.
