The Folklore Museum of Petrokerasa is located in the village of Petrokerasa, a traditional village of Thessaloniki. The museum is an important cultural point of the region, presenting the daily life, traditions and history of the inhabitants of the area.

The museum was created by the local community and local cultural associations in order to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Petrokerases. Over time, objects that are an integral part of the life of previous generations were gathered. The establishment of the museum aims to preserve and promote this heritage, offering visitors a comprehensive picture of the rural life of earlier times.

The Folklore Museum of Petrokerasa hosts rich collections of everyday objects, tools and equipment used in agricultural and livestock activities. The exhibits also include traditional costumes, household utensils, furniture and decorative objects, which compose the image of a traditional Greek village.

Through its exhibitions, visitors have the opportunity to see up close how life was organized in a rural environment, how products were produced and processed, as well as how people's everyday life was. The museum emphasizes on preserving the cultural identity of the village and the wider region, trying to pass on to the younger generations the values and traditions of their ancestors.
