The Holy Church of Agia Marina is a very special late Byzantine church, east of Volvi and just outside Rentina, 70 km from Thessaloniki. Built by the inhabitants of the village of Modi during the 18th century, it’s known for its rare construction, with a slate dome, and is a church with a single Byzantine style.
