Talgo Beach
Talgo Beach
The small, cosmopolitan jewel coast
In the centre of a closed bay, sheltered from the winds and a short distance from Panagia Bay and Vourvourou (five and ten minutes by car, respectively), Talgo Beach is famous for the clear, crystal clear waters that wet its short sandy beach. The approximately 150 metres of beach accommodate large numbers of visitors every day during the summer months, as there is a particularly popular beach bar on the spot, with a large organised section and a free area for bathers.
Access is easy via a motorway, on the axis that connects some of the most famous beaches of Halkidiki to eastern Sithonia. The uninhabited islet of Kalogria dominates the horizon, while the depth of the water is relatively shallow and is suitable for both beginners and experienced swimmers. It is recommended for visitors who prefer the loud music and the events that are very often organized at the beach bar, combining the beautiful environment composed by the blue waters with the rocks that look like sculptures on the edge of the sandy beach and the cosmopolitan breeze of the beach.
