The Sanctuary of the Nymphs
Near the town of Naousa, at the site called "Isvoria," lies the Nymphaeum of Mieza, surrounded by lush vegetation, flowing waters, and deeply shaded caves, making it an ideal dwelling and place of worship for the Nymphs. The site was organized and took on clear characteristics of a sanctuary dedicated to the Nymphs in the second half of the 4th century BC.
