Double Waterfall of Edessa
Double Waterfall of Edessa
The fascinating waterfall "Lambda" with the double flow
In the famous, unique beauty of the Edessa Waterfalls Park, the largest of the waterfalls "Karanos" stands out, falling with momentum from a height of 70 meters. A few metres further on, however, a second waterfall, slightly hidden, is breathtaking in its peculiarity, as it forms a double flow as it falls, where the water is collected in two ponds.
The "Double Waterfall" or "Lambda Waterfall", because of its shape, offers a magnificent sight for those who are not afraid to get wet, walking along the cobbled path from Karanos. The rush of water bursts through the rocks and then splits in two, creating the double waterfall, which continues its unabated course from the "eyebrow" of the city to its foamy conclusion at the feet of visitors.
