Ammouliani

Ammouliani is located on the bay of Mount Athos and is the only inhabited island of Central Macedonia. It is only 130km from Thessaloniki and it's easily accessible from the port of Tripiti by ferry boat, it's a place for magical holidays next to the endless blue.

The island of just 4.5 square kilometers harmoniously combines the crystal clear beaches with dense vegetation, as it is full of olive trees and other fruit trees. A trademark of the gastronomy of the island is the famous Amygdalota, almond cookies, which are shaped into flower shapes and impress with both their taste and shape.

The island is suitable for quiet family vacations. It has restaurants, taverns, cafes, and bars, where you can relax, while there is a doctor's office and pharmacy. In Ammouliani you will find some of the most beautiful beaches of Halkidiki. Alykes, Karagatsia, Megali Ammos, and Kalopigado are just some of them. Most beaches have bars and beach chairs, and also maintain a pleasant atmosphere of relaxation. By renting a boat you can also tour the secluded beaches that are scattered in both Ammouliani and Drenia. Near the island of Ammouliani is Mount Athos.
