Maritime Museum of Litochoro

Maritime Museum of Litochoro was created to house the history of the naval tradition of the people of Litochoro, who in the past had developed great naval activity. It is located on the main street of Litochoro, Agiou Nikolaou Street, and most of the exhibits that constitute the permanent collections of the museum come from donations of nautical families of the place.

The museum's excellent collection includes about 1,000 objects, part of which is its photographic archive. The other items belong to the categories of copper art, metalwork, woodwork, ceramics, machine tools, navigation instruments, weapons, models, archival material, clothing, and textiles. There is also the gallery of the Museum, with works that depict mainly Litochori hulls.
