Old Girls’ School of Edessa
Old Girls’ School of Edessa
The architectural monument of 1877 that continues to host the culture of Edessa
The building of the Girls' School in Edessa is classified as an Architectural Monument by the Ministry of Culture.
Since its construction in 1877, it housed the old Girls' School of the city. Today it belongs to the Municipality of Edessa and operates as a multi-purpose hall, hosting exhibitions, lectures, and artistic events.
It is a magnificent space, both internally after its renovation and externally, retaining most of the decorative elements from its construction, typical of the architecture in public buildings of the late 19th century.
