Ierissos Beach
Ierissos Beach
Endless, sandy and award-winning
The endless beach of Ierissos, the town with 3,500 inhabitants on the third "foot" of Halkidiki, is one of the largest award-winning beaches in the country. It is 5km long, in front of the settlement, and is awarded three blue flags for the quality of its waters and infrastructure. It is highly organized, with many “free” areas with sidewalks, for the most part, paved and the green touching the sand.
The three parts of the beach, in the closed Gulf of Ierissos, have sunbeds, umbrellas, WC, showers, baskets, and trash cans, while cafeterias and bars also operate at its border. The coast is wide almost in all its majestic area, it is sandy, and the beach deepens very smoothly, while it is easily accessible through the settlement. Ierissos within a few meters offers many options for food, drink, accommodation, and entertainment.
