Sozopoli Beach

Over 3.5 kilometers of sandy coastline with Blue Flag designation

Sozopoli Beach occupies a significant portion of the first coastline of Halkidiki that visitors encounter when coming from Thessaloniki (Nea Irakleia, Nea Kallikratia, Vergia, Sovopoli, Nea Triglia, and even Nea Moudania), located 38 kilometers away from the airport. It stretches for over three kilometers, from the eponymous settlement to Nea Triglia Beach. Every summer, it is awarded the Blue Flag.

The vast expanse of the coast ensures the comfort of swimmers, both those who prefer free swimming and those who use the organized facilities with beach bars, umbrellas, and sun loungers. The waters are crystal clear, as evidenced by the Blue Flag certification. The sand covers the beach and extends several meters into the seabed, with pebbles in some areas. The first few meters into the sea are shallow, gradually deepening, making it an ideal destination for families with children.

Access is easy through the road network, and the surrounding area experiences significant tourist development, offering a variety of hotels and restaurants to suit every taste.
