Grove of Agia Paraskevi in Arnea
Grove of Agia Paraskevi in Arnea
Escaping to the oak grove
The beautiful, traditional Arnea at the foot of Holomontas is surrounded by dense forests that offer the possibility of escaping to nature for rejuvenation and coolness.
The most beautiful and popular of all is the Grove of Agia Paraskevi, a green destination almost a kilometer north of the settlement, full of oaks, paths, and long shadows to relax on the benches and wooden tables.
The name of the grove comes from the church of Agia Paraskevi located there, with its famous festival every 26th of July. In the well-tended area there is enough space for everyone, people of all ages, for hiking, running, playing, picnicking, or just for a walk in the fresh, mountain air.
