Sani

Luxury and high-level amenities in the shadow of the Byzantine tower

The first settlement of western Kassandra after the canal of Nea Potidea is Sani, located 85 kilometers from Thessaloniki and 72 kilometers from the airport. Famous for its luxury, the area hosts many hotel units and villas, surrounding its beautiful beach that is "watched over" by the iconic Byzantine tower.

Sani has been inhabited since ancient times, and in the mid-16th century, the tower was constructed to protect one of the several estates of Mount Athos in the area, the estate of Stavronikita Monastery. On the hill of Sani, around the tower, the annual famous Sani Festival takes place every summer, along with numerous cultural events.

As a region with predominant tourist activity, Sani offers a multitude of accommodation units, each with its own character and uniqueness. It is chosen for its excellent organization and high level of tourist services, set against a landscape of rare beauty and views of Mount Olympus and the shores of Pieria.
