Fourka
Fourka
Mountain and sea, with a view of the most beautiful sunset in Halkidiki
Fourka and its coastal zone, Skala, are located on the western shores of the first leg of Halkidiki, approximately 80 kilometers from Thessaloniki Airport. As a settlement, it has a history of centuries, which is reflected in the village's unique architecture, with well-preserved mansions and chapels in various locations. It is surrounded by dense vegetation, where beautiful hiking trails are "hidden," and it offers one of the most beautiful spots on the map to admire the sunset on Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece.
The coastal extension of the village, Skala Fourkas, about two kilometers from the initial settlement, is a highly developed tourist resort and a major attraction for tourist activity. The endless coastline, awarded with Blue Flag, with its bright white sand and crystal-clear waters, is surrounded by numerous shops, restaurants, fish taverns, beach bars, and of course, hotel units. Located between Siviri and Possidi, Forka stands out as a seaside destination and is preferred by many visitors every summer, thanks to its well-organized facilities and the unique combination of mountains and sea that offers a unique landscape.
