Promoting and Showcasing Photography through an Extensive Collection

MOMus - Thessaloniki Museum of Photography was founded in 1998 and is located in the historic Building A at the Port of Thessaloniki, within the cultural complex of the Thessaloniki Port Authority.

The museum aims to promote and highlight the art of photography on both a national and international level. Its collection includes over 100,000 photographic works, with a particular focus on Greek photography from the late 19th century to the present. In addition to its permanent collections, the museum regularly organizes temporary exhibitions showcasing the work of both Greek and international photographers.
