NOESIS Science and Technology Museum

NOESIS, also known as the Center for the Dissemination of Science and Technology and Museum of Technology, is located in Thessaloniki, in the area of Thermi. It is one of the most modern and impressive multi-purpose venues in Greece, dedicated to science, technology, and innovation.

Established in 1978 and commencing operations in its new, state-of-the-art facilities in 2004, NOESIS offers visitors a range of exhibition spaces covering various aspects of technology, such as the history of transportation, the evolution of communications, and energy. One of the main attractions of the museum is the Planetarium, which provides unique interactive presentations about the universe and astronomical phenomena.

The museum also features the Cosmos Theater, one of the largest cinematic systems in Greece, where scientific films and documentaries are shown, and the Simulator, an interactive installation that offers visitors the experience of a virtual journey.

NOESIS provides educational programs, workshops, and interactive exhibits that cater to both children and adults, making it a significant center for learning and entertainment for the wider Thessaloniki area and beyond.
