Nea Skioni Beach

For peaceful, relaxing holidays away from the noise

Located in the southwest coast of Kassandra, after the cape in Possidi and before the Baths of Agia Paraskevi, Nea Skioni is a popular tourist destination while maintaining its traditional character as a coastal village. The coastline in front of the village is relatively narrow but extends for about 1.5 kilometers of sandy beach, which is adorned by a picturesque fishing boat harbor.

The sea is crystal clear, and Nea Skioni Beach is awarded the Blue Flag every summer. The beach is not organized like some others in Halkidiki, but it provides basic amenities for swimmers such as umbrellas and sunbeds, while the waters are shallow for several meters. There is a children's playground on the beach, and surrounding the shoreline are taverns and shops offering refreshments, snacks, as well as fresh fish and seafood. The beach has pebbles in some areas, but overall, its vast expanse and seabed are covered in sand.

Nea Skioni Beach is a destination for tranquil holidays, away from the bustling beach bars of more cosmopolitan areas. It is preferred by families and those seeking relaxation and serenity. Access is easy from the Kassandra road, and the surrounding area of the settlement is dominated by pine trees and olive groves.
