Nea Flogita Beach

Along the azure coastline of the Thermaic Gulf, towards the peninsula of Chalkidiki and just before Nea Moudania, lies the beach of Nea Flogita, which is the natural continuum of the coast at Nea Plagia. This large beach, stretching over a kilometer, is particularly popular among the residents of Thessaloniki due to its proximity to the city center (59 kilometers) and the airport, as well as its excellent organization that allows visitors to enjoy their swim without needing anything more than their swimsuits.

Beach bars with umbrellas, sun loungers, toilets, refreshments, and food, facilities for water sports, taverns, and restaurants around the beach, and shops of all kinds cater to every need of vacationers. Above all, there are magnificent crystal-clear waters and a sandy beach that is awarded the Blue Flag every summer. There is easy access from the coastal road that leads to the first leg, it is friendly to people with disabilities, and there is a lifeguard who supervises the swimmers.
