The Diamond of Southwest Sithonia

.Toroni is a coastal settlement located in southwest Sithonia, 20 kilometers from Neos Marmaras and 128 kilometers from Thessaloniki Airport. Archaeological findings testify to the existence of prehistoric populations in the area, while monuments such as the Castle of Likynthos, the ruins of the ancient city in Vigla, and historical evidence agree that Toroni is one of the oldest villages in Halkidiki. In modern times, however, it is well known for its beaches and tourist infrastructure, which make it one of the most popular destinations for vacationers.

The greatest attraction of Toroni is undoubtedly its imposing, endless beach in front of the village. With a length of almost 2.5 kilometers, wide sandy shores, and plenty of space for everyone, it is awarded the Blue Flag every year. Surrounding the coastline, there are restaurants, taverns, beach bars, shops, hotels, and rental rooms that serve the needs of every visitor.

Toroni balances perfectly its historical, authentic character and the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a prime tourist resort. It has easy access via the coastal road network, both to the settlement itself and the popular beaches nearby (Porto Koufo, Aretes, Azapiko, Kechri, Tristinika).
