Neos Marmaras Beach

The beach of the most cosmopolitan village in Sithonia

Neos Marmaras is the most populous settlement in Sithonia during the summer months, a cosmopolitan resort with a large number of visitors who stay there as a base for exploring the beaches and attractions throughout the second leg of Halkidiki. The beach, located south of the village, stretches for a kilometer, and while it is primarily a free beach, it also has organized sections and comfortably accommodates bathers across its entire length.

The waters are shallow in the first few meters, making it a preferred choice for families with children. The sandy shore is wide, the sea is always clean, and it has been awarded with the Blue Flag. The beach is surrounded by dense vegetation, with tamarisk and eucalyptus trees, while there is a large number of taverns, cafes, and shops .

Access to the beach is very easy, and residents of the settlement can reach it on foot. At the edge of the coast, you will find the famous Porto Carras hotel complex, while the opposite island called "Kelyfos," shaped like a turtle, offers a unique view, especially during golden hour.
