Karatassiou Interdisciplinary Park

The Karatassiou Interdisciplinary Park is one of the most significant green spaces in Thessaloniki, offering a tranquil and picturesque retreat for both residents and visitors. Located on the western side of the city, the park spans approximately 689 acres, making it one of the largest green lungs in the region.

The park was developed on the site of the old Karatassiou military base, which had long been abandoned.
