Folklore Museum of Nea Zichni

The Folklore Museum of Nea Zichni, founded in 1994 by the members of the Folklore Charitable Association of Women of Nea Zichni, offers a unique opportunity for visitors to get to know the everyday life of the old times through rich and diverse sections.

Housed in three rooms of the old primary school, the exhibitions include objects that highlight the tradition and culture of the region. The museum brings together rare exhibits that depict the life of the inhabitants of Nea Zichni in various fields, such as agriculture, animal husbandry and traditional arts.

As part of its objectives, the museum seeks to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the region, while providing educational activities and events.
